Your body is going through quite a few changes during this time and can be more prone to stress, fatigue, irritability, and restlessness. The body accumulates excess fluid to nourish the growing baby and placenta, so swelling, especially in the extremities, is common during this time. Getting massages throughout your pregnancy can help in managing these tolling shifts, keeping your body relaxed and balanced, which has a positive effect on your growing baby.
The massage therapist is trained to provide safe and effective massage, weaving therapeutic techniques with lymphatic drainage and reflexology, throughout each phase of your pregnancy, all the way through the fourth trimester after your baby is born.
