Lymphatic Drainage Massage
-
This bodywork aims to open up blockages that hinder the function of the immune system and digestive tract. The goal of this type of bodywork is to move lymphatic fluid (and white blood cells) throughout the body to flush out accumulated cellular waste, promote healing in areas where inflammation is present, and rehydrate areas that have been compressed.
A Medicupping™ machine is integrated into this session, which helps direct the flow of lymph more efficiently and stimulates the lymph nodes to release old fluid. This feels like a soft vacuum that lifts and creates space under the tissue layers; it’s gentle vibration also has a calming effect on the nervous system.
The abdominal area, armpit area (axillary nodes), hip flexor/groin area (inguinal nodes), and outer breast tissue are massaged. (Don’t worry, you are covered appropriately when being worked on.) If you are not comfortable with having any of these areas worked, let your therapist know.
**Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is most effective over a course of several sessions. You may feel and see some differences as soon as after your first session, but to experience longer-lasting results it is recommended to receive multiple sessions, which varies from person to person. (1-4 treatments over the course of a month or 1 every month to 4 months as maintenance, integrated with a good diet and exercise plan.

Ultimate Detox Treatment
-
Feeling sluggish, foggy-headed, unmotivated, or lacking energy? Having repetitive digestive issues or feeling like your immune system is weak? This treatment aims to reduce inflammation, move stagnant lymphatic fluid and energy, and alleviate discomfort in the abdominal area.
It includes:
Lymphatic Drainage to assist the whole body in cleaning out foreign debris and cellular waste. I integrate MediCupping™ Therapy to create space within the layers of tissue by acting as a gentle vacuum to lift the tissues up, which allows for lymph flow, increased circulation, and less traffic for the white blood cells to circulate.
Digestive Massage works with the body's waste removal system to give the immune system a boost as the digestive tract gets cleared. The practitioner uses a gentle, yet firm-pressured technique to assist the body to release any air, pressure, or any solid build-up on its own.
Castor Oil Pack draws toxins out of the abdominal space so the organs (such as the intestines, gallbladder, liver, and reproductive tract), and tissues can eliminate debris and heal. (Not used if pregnant or menstruating.)
*You get to bring this home to reuse!
Your therapist will give you simple after-care directions to help keep the body in detox mode so you can really experience the benefits.

Post-Surgery Lymphatic Drainage
-
After surgical procedures, the body has endured trauma which causes inflammation, which is a natural response the body has to protect itself, but, many things can be left damaged by surgical procedures, especially in the case of post-cosmetic surgery. In order to minimize inflection and properly heal, the body needs to reduce swelling and restore the essential fluid pathways and tissue function.
Lymphatic Drainage after surgery helps the body heal faster, more effectively and enhances your results. Since lymphatic vessels have been damaged during the surgical procedure, lymphatic pathways need assistance in reconstructing themselves so that fluid can be moved away from surgical sites.
This special massage redirects the lymph fluid to specific regions of your body rich in healthy lymph nodes so that toxins and cellular waste can be filtered and removed from the body. The practitioner has advanced training and certification in Post-Surgery Lymphatic Drainage and is knowledgeable of where NOT to direct fluid after surgery since normal lymph pathways have been damaged.
A Medicupping™ machine is integrated into these sessions during certain stages of healing, which helps reduce fibrosis (hard lumps), directs the flow of lymph more efficiently, and stimulates the lymph nodes to release old fluid. This feels like a soft vacuum that lifts and creates space under the tissue layers; it’s gentle vibration also has a sedative effect on the nervous system.
